Dread is all all-around us now, and though some of us have been residing with it since the commence of the calendar year, some are just obtaining into it – it is virtually like this ripple of panic that has unfold throughout the world. There is panic of the virus, panic for our family and mates, panic of dropping our work, wages becoming cut and panic of an mysterious long term – how long will this past?
But we will have to conquer panic if we are to recover and
rebound and it starts with handling our individual panic.
In this episode, we communicate to Dr Adrian Wang, who runs
his individual psychiatry and counselling centre at Gleneagles Health-related Centre in
Singapore. Before commencing personal practice in Oct 2005, he was chief of the
Office of Common Psychiatry and consultant-in-cost of the Stress and anxiety and
Temper Clinic at the Institute of Mental Wellness. He was the chief Treatment officer of
the National Treatment Administration Technique from 2001 to 2005, and was included in
scheduling the psychological responses for the Asian Tsunami Crisis in 2004 and
the Silkair MI185 and SIA 006 air crashes.
