Grounded in Cape Town: Whiskey and skipping will get me through
It’s going on 11pm in Cape Town (composing this with a glass of whiskey so excuse the grammar). Though almost everything appears to be to be going in the erroneous course (S%&T) I refuse to drown in negativity. Yes, I could think about the burn up amount of our tech business, the probable price-slicing or the panic of basic culture, but I am picking to aim on what can be carried out now and making positive my headspace is distinct and ready for motion.
Now is the time for self-reflection, get out the negative electrical power and aim on the matters that will make a real big difference in my daily life and in the long run the business – I simply cannot regulate a pandemic! I have obtained a skipping rope to get started skipping – one thing I have desired to do for ages. For the moment I get cabin fever, stocked up on some whiskey (because I love whiskey, no other purpose) and resolved to faucet into the books that I try go through but by no means have time!

I think we can all remember that initially overseas holiday we went on? I undoubtedly do, I was a vibrant-eyed bushed-tailed young lad, fully naïve, going to Thailand with my long phrase girlfriend.
I can pretty much remember it so vividly, almost everything was new to me in Thailand, the society (the most remarkable humble, friendly I have ever achieved), foods (Thai crispy crepe), the night daily life (Bangla Street, Phuket), the surroundings (getting vacuumed by an elephant with no underpants – story for yet another time, it is not what you are contemplating), the landscapes (Phi Phi Island, no words and phrases can explain one of the most attractive sites on this earth).
As soon as vacation grabs you it is addictive there is no turning back again and nine a long time afterwards nothing has adjusted. To encounter one thing new, with locals or pals you have built around the earth, is one thing really special and maybe these words and phrases never clarify the total context.
Though we all go through isolation remember, the up coming trip is around the corner. I know I am arranging one thing I have always desired to do, take a look at Brazil and Argentina – it is just a subject of timing now. Peace, love, tech and vacation.
