Anguilla Tourist Board Appoints Stacey Liburd as Director of Tourism

Anguilla’s minister of tourism, the Hon. Hayden Hughes, has announced the appointment of Stacey Liburd to the placement of director of tourism, which was helpful from January 4, 2021.

Kenroy Herbert, chairman of the Anguilla Tourist Board (ATB) stated in a published assertion, “Stacey Liburd is the suitable applicant for this critical situation. She is a creative tourism marketer and a results-oriented supervisor with a established ability to build and execute marketing campaigns and trade initiatives that supply results.  We are self-assured in her management abilities and potential to guidebook the Anguilla Tourist Board and our marketplace through our recovery in the article-COVID period.”   

Prior to her appointment, Liburd served as a member of the ATB board of administrators, wherever she chaired the Marketing Committee. She comes to the situation with a prosperity of business development, sales and marketing experience in tourism, possessing represented a cross-area of Anguilla’s resort and villa properties. She has served as profits and marketing manager for Quintessence Lodge, a Relais & Châteaux Home, Santosha Estate, Prolonged Bay Villas, Zemi Beach front House and the brand name-new Tranquility Beach Resort Anguilla, acquiring detailed marketing and advertising strategies and sales programs to raise model recognition as effectively as generate business to the resorts. As business development manager for Calypso Charters, she centered on introducing considerable employing and schooling applications for the personnel, as very well as expanding the selection of accounts with resorts, villas and tour operators.

Liburd holds a Bachelor of Science (Regulation) Diploma from Town University of New York – John Jay School. She also retains a Certification in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic College and obtained the Chartered Director designation from The Caribbean Governance Training Institute
