The Help Community for Indigenous Girls and Women of Colour (SNIWWOC) is web hosting a riveting city corridor discussion on September 13 at 6 -7:30 p.m., with candidates functioning for a seat in the forthcoming election. We will be joined by Devyani Singh and Cheryl Matthew (to be verified) from the B.C. Greens and Anjali Appadurai from The NDP.
As more females make their way into the political realm, Indigenous women of all ages and women of color are still faced with powerful scrutiny and backlash, often acquiring to endure racism and microaggressions on the public stage.
Girls of colour are changing the facial area of Canadian politics. Their voices are needed and Canada will be superior for it. This digital celebration is no cost and open to the community.
