Festive screening of iconic Bridget Jones’s Diary hailed a success

A FESTIVE screening of the legendary blockbuster Bridget Jones’s Diary has been hailed a enormous achievements.

The film attracted a big viewers at The Curzon and raised far more than £300 for the mayor of Knutsford’s charities, the Royal British Legion an St Vincent de Paul Society.

Cllr Stewart Gardiner mentioned: “From the raucous laughter of the audience, I evidently picked a winner when deciding upon to host the screening of Bridget Jones’ Diary.

“The seasonal ending included to the environment of the working experience. Thank you to all that supported the night.

“We are hoping to reprise the knowledge in the spring”.

Winners of raffle prizes donated by local companies went home with gifts such as an M&S voucher, wine, candies and a Monet bracelet.
