Budding novelists invited to enter new Cheshire writing competition

Budding novelists are getting invited to just take part in a new opposition to aid get their publications off the floor.

Author and editor Sara Cox founded the Cheshire Novel Prize competitiveness to aid authors break into the publishing world.

The levels of competition is designed for individuals writers who have yet to safe an agent or a publishing deal.

And although the level of competition welcomes entries from all more than the globe, the organisers are especially eager to listen to from community storytellers in Cheshire.

Sara explained: “We know there are plenty of gifted writers in Cheshire and the encompassing areas and it would be wonderful if some get portion in this new level of competition, which puts our spot on the literary map.

“Hoping to crack by into the publishing earth can seem quite daunting and so I preferred to aid by location up a competitors for unrepresented writers.

“We’re hunting forward to reading through the fresh new, fascinating stories the entrants occur up with.”

Entries opened yesterday and will shut at midnight on April 1, 2022. There will be a major prize of £1,500 for the winner.

Entrants need to deliver in the 1st 5,000 text of their ebook and an outline (synopsis) of the full plot.

All entries will receive comments on their writing.

The competition’s judging panel is created up of six prestigious literary brokers, writers and editors from across the publishing marketplace.

A number of writers from deprived backgrounds will be equipped to enter free of charge, many thanks to the generosity of sponsors.

10 for each cent of all entry costs will go to charities decided on by the judges.
